This is a beautiful collection of short stories from Abbas Zaidi. He has been successful in giving a comprehensive view of life that he experienced as a globe trotter. The stories reflect his versatile genius. The language is lucid and the subjects are revealing. He has made the stories very interesting by a sprinkling of light irony, but not without some bitterness, here and there. It is an evidence of his richness of experience and exuberance of style.
