The Politics of Urban-industrial Heritage in Britain focuses on three periods of seismic change in the Manchester and Salford conurbation over the past two hundred years and provides a multidisciplinary study of the nexus between a rapidly evolving urban-industrial landscape and the ‘heritage industry’ that followed in its wake.
