This is the proceeding of a historical science conference where scientists, teachers of Vietnam and foreign countries exchange academics and promote cooperation in research and training. Facing the requirements of the new History curriculum and textbooks, the training and retraining of teachers as well as the innovation of teaching methods are revealing inadequacies. These shortcomings need to be seriously considered and evaluated. From there, propose orientations and solutions to overcome, enhance the position of History and make historical research and teaching more responsive to the development needs of the society in the current period.
