The aim of Virtual Heritage is to share an original concept of architectural VH research project named e-Warisan Senibina, awarded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) of Malaysia under the e-Content Fund. Nineteen sites have been selected on the basis that they have significant cultural meaning and historical values – as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and influenced the design direction of Traditional Malay Muslim Architecture in Peninsular Malaysia. Five classifications are identified based on the building typologies – mosque, house, shop house, wakaf and palace.
