The present work contains 200 titles of Ottoman Turkish Manuscripts, 190 titles of them are recently acquired by the ISTAC while the other 10 titles were purchased together with the Urdu Collection in 1992. This catalogue was compiled mainly based on the notes attached on each manuscript by the previous collector. There is no fixed system of transliteration in Turkish, therefore it is not always strictly uniform. It is arranged alphabetically by titles. The running numbers on the left hand corner of each entry is also used as identification numbers of each manuscript and its location on the shelves. Titles marked with star (*) on its running numbers were formerly belonged to the Urdu Collection.
