Social security is one of the essential human rights embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948. Employment injury is one of the nine principal branches under social security that is recognised in international human rights law and international labour standards. Firstly, the book attempts to cover previous study and existing gap in employment injury benefits at domestic and international level. Secondly, the book provides insights on the scope of equality and non-discrimination under the international human rights law and international labour law towards migrant workers. Thirdly, author discusses with an in-depth analysis on the standard of employment injury benefits under the international legal framework. Fourthly, this book analysed the recognition of employment injury protection for migrant workers to what extent they are being protected. Lastly, the discussion focuses on the sufficiency, adequacy, shortcomings of existing mechanisms followed by specific recommendations. Author adopts methodology comprised of doctrinal and socio-legal studies with critical analysis, interpretation, and application of related laws on employment injury protection for migrant workers were applied as legal techniques. Thus, this book has been structured with combination of chapters which was derived from part of Ph.D thesis.
