The Plight Witness is a factual story of the oppressed and evicted Bhutanese. Set in the refugee camps in Nepal in 1991, the novel’s plot narrates the first one-year history of Bhutanese refugees and the flashback of the repressive state policy and 1990 movement back in Bhutan. This is a historical-nonfiction novel. It represents the tragic life of the evicted Bhutanese Citizens.
