The first edition of the book, EMPOWERING THE PINOY PWDs, came out in 2018. This second edition released five years later, retains the basic and salient provisions of the first edition as it provides the intricate details of benefits to PWDs from the viewpoint of different stakeholders. Moreover, it contains the vital steps on how to secure a PWD ID, its various documentary requirements, the sample application form, the computation of the discount and value-added tax exemption of PWDs, and related important procedures and processes. Yet, this second edition also contains the important updates that happened during the five-year lapse, especially on the PWD struggles during and rising from the pandemic.
