First published in 2019 covering the story of a Master Weaver in Kampung Paya Rumput, the latest edition of Mad Weaves has been updated to include a comparison about the past and present of weaving and our dying forests. Crafts are often seen as an end product, rarely the love and labour involved in their making. This journal unmasks the craftswomen behind craft-making, told through an anecdote of how the heart and soul are weaved into creations.
