India with its rich history of participation of women in the freedom struggle and student activism has laid the foundation of many mass movements in which women students have given their contribution and as an extension to that glorious journey my book titled, ‘Feminist And Ferocious: Women Student Activists In Contemporary India’ highlights the scope and presence of leadership of women in student activism and mass movements in contemporary India. It documents the influence and impact of feminism on women student activists and broadens the scope of understanding the contemporary issues and concerns of women student activists and their relationship with feminism.
