Violet Rose and Marigold is a work of collective poems that describes the life of a lover, from being loved to being betrayed by his lover and his people. The title was given after flowers and their symbolic meanings, “Violet Rose: Love” and “ Marigold: Pain and Grief”. The poems were set in four different sections, which are titled after the four seasons: Winter, Summer, Fall, and Spring.
