Gopilal Acharya is a journalist. He has written for CNN. The straits times, scroll in the telegraph, South Asian monitor and kuensel among others. The manuscript of his novel with a stone in my heart was longlisted for the 2009-man Asian literary prize. He is the author of Bhutanese Folktales (From the east and the South) and dancing to death (Poems). His poetry and fiction have appeared in Asia Literary Review and Himal Southasian.
