The present day Bharat exhibits a wave of all round progress, the driving force of which originates in the spirit of national resurgence within the Bharatiya society. According to Arnold Toynbee this process is a ‘kind of social drill’ and during this process the few who know and see have to create the workers who can transform the society into a missionary workforce. Dr. K. B. Hedgewar – 1889 to 1940 was one such visionary leader, a master organiser as well as a dedicated patriot who created Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1925. The organisation has brought about the onset of this atmosphere of national resurgence into the Bharatiya society. His biography is available in almost all Bharatiya languages.
