Mount Ararat with an elevation of 5137 m is considered sacred by millions of people living not only in the Eastern and North-eastern Anatolian Regions but in the Caucasus, Nakhichivan, Azerbaijan and the region of Northwestern Iran. Even today Mount Ararat enchants people with its magnificence and beauty, and it is mentioned in both the Bible and the Torah on account of The Flood.
