This book describes fifteen of the very many ethnic groups in Nigeria, as an introduction to Nigeria. Note that in this book, we use the term 'ethnic group' the description of ethnic groups in and never the word 'tribe'. We specifically decry the use of this racist and stereotypical term 'tribe'. We shall explain further in the section on ethnic groups.
