Nigeria is currently facing a serious security dilemma in the wake of increasing deadly terrorist attacks by the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram. From its original base in Maiduguri, Borno State, the sect had in recent time spread its activities to other parts of Northern Nigeria. At the moment Government is pulling all available resources to stem the ugly menace. This book examines the origin and spread of the Boko Haram group and then analyses government's response to what has become a big security dilemma.
