This paper discussed those that are regarded as the aged in Nigeria, ageing policy issues and how the aged are abused in the country. It also look at changing pattern of the Nigerian family system and care for the elderly as well as the status of adult education in the country and how adult education can be used to address the problems of the aged in Nigeria.
