Folk performances, including forms of singing such as folk songs, folk music... formed in the labor, affection, community activities, religion and beliefs of our Vietnamese people. Each region, each area has its own unique genres, with its own nuances of people's life. Over time with the inevitable fluctuations of social life, many types of singing still retain the same "vitality" in people's spiritual activities, but there are also genres that are gradually disappearing. Therefore, preserving, restoring and developing folk singing forms in their daily life is to preserve traditional cultural values, not only contributing to preserving the diversity and richness of national music but also affirming the characteristics of Vietnamese culture to the world.
